| IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ELYRIA ELKS LODGE #465 | ||
| 1. | Lodge Meetings | Meetings are held every second and fourth Wednesday of the month. They begin at 7:30 P.M. |
| 2. | Club Hours | The Club rooms are open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1A.M. |
| 3. | Noon Day Lunch | This is for members, their spouse and guests. Service is Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 2 P.M. |
| 4. | Cerebral Palsy Night | The first Wednesday of each month we have a Members and guests dinner. (Roast Beef with all the trimmings). Card games, conversation and sociability prevail. On the month of your birthday or the month following, your dinner is on the house. |
| 5. | Daily Sign Up | There is a daily sign-up sheet at the Bar. Each day that you stop in, sign your name and leave a quarter. You could win the amount posted on the top of this sheet. |
| 6. | Guest Rules | Guests are always welcome. Guests who are local residents should not be brought into the club rooms more than three times. We would rather have them as a member. |
| 7. | Bowling League | Monday, Tuesday and Thursday there are men's leagues with two shifts on Monday. Wednesday is Ladies night on the alleys. Friday is mixed couple league. Special matches and events are also scheduled during the year. |
| 8. | Golf League | Every Tuesday, from May through August, we play at a local course. You can golf any time of the day as long as you have another member golfing with you. Just turn your scores into the league secretary. It is team golf. |
| 9. | Does Club | The Does (our ladies organization) meet every second Thursday evening at the club. Their projects provide many of the niceties we enjoy. |
| 10. | Weekly Sign-Up | $1,000 if registered and present - $500 if registered and NOT present. Ask the bartender for the sign-up notebook behind the bar. This is a weekly drawing on Saturday night at 10 P.M. Cost is $1 per week. |
| 11. | Family Fun | The Elks are family oriented. Many of our activities are geared to family participation. In August we have a big family picnic with food, games, refreshments etc. Each Christmas and Easter we have a party for the kids - Santa and the Easter Bunny stop in to greet them. Other events are scheduled through out the year. |
