28th Annual State Mixed Doubles Tournament

Bowling will be conducted at Luray Lanes in Ashland, with two weekend dates available, October 18/19 and 25/26.

The squad time on Saturday is 2:00 P.M., with a 10:00 A.M. squad available on Sunday.

This is a Doubles Event, consisting of three (3) games. Entry fee is $35.00 per couple, all bowlers will have the opportunity to re-enter, and compete for a second time on Sunday morning with a different partner.

ELIGIBILITY:

A) One (1) of the bowlers must be an Elk, (male or female), with current membership.

This eligibility rule applies to all entries.

B) Bowlers may enter more than once, providing that they re-enter the tournament with a different partner.

C) The couple re-entering must pay an additional entry fee of $35.00.

All entries and monies must be received by October 15, 2008, for scheduling purposes. Walk-ins and late entries will be accepted up to October 26, 2008, if lanes are available.

Entry forms will be mailed to all of the lodge Secretaries by September 1, for distribution.

Host lodge, Ashland #1360 has contributed the following information;

On each Saturday, October 18 & 25, the lodge will have a lunch special available for the couples that arrive early, serving between 11:30-1:30.

Saturday evening dinners will be available from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. for your dining pleasure.

Menu selections of Steak, Fish, and Shrimp Fry will be offered, as well as Baked Chicken. Side dishes will accompany all entree's, with all of the selections priced at $10.00, or less.

Entertainment on Saturday evening offers something for everyone including a Corn-Hole Tournament, with a $5.00 entry fee.

For the card players in the group a Texas Hold'em Tournament will be available along with Blackjack, Tip Boards, Bingo Tickets and much more.

The jukebox will be free for the evening, please plan on visiting our lodge and let the good times roll.
